Description

Implement weather MCP tool:

  • Choose API (or local weather source)

Technical Details

Options:

  • OpenWeatherMap API (external - exception to privacy policy)
  • Local weather station data
  • National Weather Service API

Implementation:

  • Location parsing and geocoding
  • API key management
  • Rate limiting (requests per hour)
  • Caching for recent queries

Dependencies

  • TICKET-029 (MCP server)
  • TICKET-003 (privacy policy - weather is exception)
